  1. Brandon Jennings is progressing nicely overseas but I think he’d be better served if he plays for Coach Repesa and Lottomatica next year. I think going to the NBA next year could be very detrimental to his development.

  3. LOL….4.9 points…what a star!!!! Seems like those who felt Jennings won’t make a splash in the NBA were likely spot on.

  5. If you want to see Brandon in action, check out NBA TV this Saturday @ 1pm. Brandon’s team, Lottomatica Virtus Roma takes on Alba Berlin.

  6. Here is the reality. Young Mr. Jennings will be isolated and alone in Rome. He does not speak the language and he has no college education. Even one year of college is a great asset to a kid from Compton. Not getting any education at all will leave him at an enormous disadvantage in life regardless of whether or not he makes it someday in the NBA.

  7. Brandon does not need college, colleges need Brandon! Kobe made it just fine with out going to college, and so will Brandon.

  9. This is about what was expected for him in europe. As far as the other points – Jennings winning MVP his first year in NBA? lol…clueless…Jennings being at a disadvantage by not getting an education? You think guys like him learn anything in college??? They take the minimum classes, take joke classes at that, and get TAs and other people in the class to do their work – add the fact that he is guarenteed one and done, and the education argument holds about as much weight as misha barton’s tits.

  10. B.J is doing just fine this is first year no doubt when he hits the nba level hes gonna win the rookie of the year award and now that the unfair coach is gone he is gonna see more p.t and less bench. I made the jump from middle school straight to varsity its whole diffrent level and im progressin just fine. His time will come this guy is the truth no doubt

  12. well just to let you all know kobe had a nba body he was what when he got drafted 6.6 and he did not win mvp until a season or two ago as for brandon jennings college would have been good for him because he would have been playing with players of his caliber all he did was make everyone think his s.a.t score was so low that he to go overseas but he will not be rookie of the year when he gets to .L. because if he does enter the draft next year there will be alot more guys that are bigger stronger have a few years under there belt in college brandon jennings is a not playmaker not yet anyways right now he remindes of a young allen iverson like a.i he takes two many bad shots and has not shown any flashes of being a great p.g he will be more of a jamall crawford steve francis type without the size of franchise or crawford and dont get me wrong chris paul is not the biggest guy on the court but he is playmaker and knows how to play the game of basketball he can see a play devolpe before it happens i think that brandon should stay overseas for a few years and let his body devolpe and let his shot come along a little more and maybe if he shows some flashes of being a playmaker he could be the next great point guard but not next year no rookie of the year for m.r jennings if he stays overseas for two or three seasons and the comes over to the .L. he could be rookie of the year but not next year to many great college ballers comeing out next year and if m.r jennings does not improve over the season and have good workouts he might even be a late first rounder or even second rounder just think a.j abrams out of texas a why better shooter then jennings he might not be a first rounder because of his size so where does that leave jennings somewhere late first round thats all i got to say for now

  13. first off brandon jennings body is not nba ready you cant compare him to kobe bryant because kobe was what 6.6 when he got drafted he will not be rookie of the year if he comes out next year because there will be guys who have played college ball for two three or four seasons now and they are bigger and stronger and have more skills then he does right now not to take anything away from b.j he has a lot of talent and i know if he waits a few seasons overseas till his shot gets better and his skills develop as a passing and playmaking p.g ………so next year no r.o.y rookie of the year for b.j but a few seasons under his belt and ya i can see him getting that r.o.y award if he stay overseas a few years

  14. Haha, wow I really don’t have the time to read all of these funny comments, so I decided on a couple, and what I have seen is that alot feels he is going to be a good player if he comes to the NBA next year, and some feel r.o.y, some feel mvp(? – dumbest statement ever I think.) Some also feel he is going to be pretty bad if he comes into the league. But I will make his comparison to a person in the NBA. Sebastian Telfair. Even though Telfair didn’t go toEurope or college this is whose Jennings game is like. Quick, flashy, an ok jumpshot , not alot of basketball iq though , he is just a guy that likes the showtime. How ever I do feel if he stays in Europe a year or 2, then his game will come around to where he’s going to be a starter p.g in the league but never an allstar. If you agree or disagree, please share me your feelings.

  15. well like i said in past post he will not be r.o.y if he comes out next season to many good players not gonna name them but if you read this you can probley come up with a few yourself so a few years overseas and then r.o.y and as far as m.v.p well ill just put it like this kwame brown no.1 pick no where near what everybody was thinking he was gonna be so he needs to become more of a pass first p.g and a playmaker so like telfair if he comes out next year he will not make a very big impact and it will take him some time to come into his own hay just look at telfair he been in the .L. for a few years now and is still not what everybody was thinking he was gonna be or even what he was thinking he was going to become
