Brandon Jennings is no longer an Arizona Wildcat. In an unprecedented move, Jennings will forgo playing in college and instead pursue a professional career in Europe next season before likely entering the 2009 NBA draft.
In a statement released through his attorney, Jennings said:
“Over the course of the last two months I have consulted a number of people in basketball before coming to this decision. I would like to thank the University of Arizona for their interest and support through this process.”

Nice integrity, ass.

Worst career move of your life retard. Lute has an impressive record of turning out NBA stars and you threw it all away. AZ would have been ridiculous with Chase coming back, Jordan Hill down low and Nic Wise stepping his game up more than ever. Now Jennings will be just another American who couldn’t hack the game over here. I seriously hope you get no time, have a season ending injury and then end up transferring to a D3 school where the best future you will have is coaching other potential starts at a Compton High School.

Jennings is too dumb to run a high caliber team at point, he should join the And1 team where all the other players with oversized egos that couldn’t get into college land. I hope you fail miserably.

You’re no better than Marcus Williams. When you dont make the NBA you’ll end up just another average Joe, but your dumb ass won’t even have a college education to show for it.
Enjoy waiting tables in 5 years jerk off.

Comment by CJ — July 9, 2008 @ 10:13 am
Well sure he will wait tables in 5 years, but he’ll get a few hundred k for playing in europe, probably get drafted next year and get a couple mill. But young money is just gonna blow it all and probably try to start a rap carreer or something. He wanted to go to U of A but it’s not as easy to get in there as it used to be. The pres doesn’t give a shit about athletics anymore and he wasnts to turn Arizona into some quasi Ivy league school. Yeah right.
You can’t have good sports teams if you can’t get star athletes that are too stupid to go to your school. This is looking like the end of the prestige that arizona basketball once had.
Comment by wilbur — July 9, 2008 @ 10:35 am
good for you! i hope you do well in europe and have fun! way to stick it to the man! ncaa is so messed up! their rules are retarded and they make sooooo much money of you kids!!! once again great decision! don’t let anyone tell you other wise.
Comment by Reg — July 9, 2008 @ 11:02 am
I wish the young man the best of luck. If he can’t get into college at this point, why not go and make some money and live in Europe for a year. Most of you know very little about this kid and his family back ground. I know this family. What kid would not want to help his family financially if they had the opportunity. I can’t beleive that many of you are wishing this kid gets hurt.
Comment by Ken — July 9, 2008 @ 11:36 am
OPTION A: Wait for the SAT results, hopefully pass and be able to play at Point Guard U for a coach and system that turned out Jason Terry, Mike Bibby, and Gilbert Arenas (And Bayless although he didnt play for Lute and hasnt proved himself in the NBA yet). End up a consensus top 5 pick and be the newest NBA prospect from Point Guard U. Guaranteed a lucrative contract and endorsement deal and enjoy an NBA career. Be the big man on campus for a year and live like a local celebrity.
OPTION B: Screw the SATs, play in a country I probably have never been to, where they speak a language I probably don’t speak, half a world away from home, where the game is much different from the USA game, risking the possibility of being “Exposed” and having my draft stock plummet in order to make 1-2 million in the SHORT TERM.
Good judgement
Comment by UAfan — July 9, 2008 @ 12:15 pm
UAfan… jason terry, mike bibby and gilbert arenas were all great players before they went to college. they worked hard on their games and no matter where they went they would be great…so i don’t bye that arguement. he’ll gain way more experience in a year in another country, than going to college for one year.

Way to have no sense of integrity, character, or class. Forget committments son, it’s all about the “Young Money”! They are going to love you over in Turkey with all that painted skin; just don’t let them mistake you for a homeless gipsy as I heard they are fond of kidnapping homeless gipsies and cutting off every 3rd finger and mailing them to their loved ones. I can just see your mothers face now when she opens the envelope! Great decision Brandon, I’m sure we’ll here about you when they make the after School movie special about a young American ball player who went to Europe to pursue a dream of Pro Basketball, only to get kidnapped and starved with the exception of being forced to eat his own body parts. Great choice Brandon…..

To all the hater out there, just work on yourself. Brandon is doing what Brandon need to do for Brandon and his family. This is what American was suppose to be about. If your good at your craft you should get paid. Doctor go to school for 10 years or so, and are well paid. Brandon has worked, studied and continue to improve his chosen craft for over 11 years. Everyone can get paid, colleges, coaches, news reporter, ect.. Why should anyone, if at any age, is good at what they do, should be held back. Golf, tennis, soccer, ice-skating ect.. are not set to the same standard as basketball, football players. Because the schools want to use them to make more money. Why should we have to, export our talented young men to other countries to live the AMERICAN DREAM….Shame on NCAA and NBA and to you so-called fans who cannot understand Brandon, using all of his options. Everyone else is
P.S. Brandon take Chase Budinger with you, you two play so great together it would be nice to see the two of SCA fines player again.

I wouldn’t talk about school, given the grammar in your post.
Why are we haters? Most of us like myself are U of A kids who are furious that this guy COMMITED to our school and then pulled out last minute.
If you commit to something and then come to Tucson and promise bringing back the NBA title and all that jazz, you better not have the audacity and make that decision.
But I mean I see your point:
So when your husband to be promises you an amazing life together and then leaves you standing at the altar while he runs off with some other chick you couldnt possibly be mad at him either. After all he made a decision which at the time seems to be in his favor and you might run the risk of being a “hater”.

I am very happy this guy will not be attending the same school from which I graduated. His overpowering lack of intellect would be an embarrassment to the name on the front of his jersey. Instead he’ll only embarrass the name on the back.
Good think, BJ.
Comment by Bryan — July 9, 2008 @ 5:36 pm
I’d like to thank you Brandon for choosing not to attend Arizona. Reason why I am so grateful is that you are saving Arizona from a major headache. See, you played everyone like a fool and now they all see what you’re really about. You’re a showboat who is going to sink once you go Euro. They’re gonna eat you alive. But hey…you have some coin. That’s what it’s all about right?
Not a smart move. Than again, you’re not the brightest bulb in the package are you? I mean, you couldn’t hack the SAT the first time and you probably didn’t pass the 2nd SAT on your own. You took the third one and, I suspect, probably failed to qualify just like the first time. So when you found out the score on the original release date you held onto it and decided to use the recruitment to Arizona to draw attention to yourself. You decided to take advantage of the school and their generosity by dragging out things until it was too late to replace you (and trust me you are replacable). So no school for you. It’s cool. Basketball is all you know and thats all you’ll get. Just pray your knees don’t blow out before you get to your mid 20′s or you’ll end up being a fry guy at the local BK or something.
Oh BTW I’d try to distance myself from linking the likes of Mayo on your website. Never know what nasty rumors could pop up now that you dissed Arizona. Welcome to the adult world.

If you think he was going to bring a title to Arizona, then you must think he’ll bring a title to whatever team he plays on next year. I *highly* doubt that’s going to happen. Most people I know are DELIGHTED that he’s not coming. We care more about the school than just the basketball program.

Brandon,
Go tear it up in Europe. It’s funny to see these U of eh homers try to tell you that going to their skanky litter box university will better prepare you for providing for yourself. Isn’t a university suppose to be a viable option? Yes, but so is playing in Europe if your occupation is a professional bball player especially where a growing number of studs are coming out of Europe to star in the NBA. At the end of the day it’s not where you got to school or even if you do go (I’m a college grad that runs a successful real estate appraisal firm here in Scottsdale AZ) it’s the type of person you are and what you do with your education. There’s about 5% of what I learned at a formal under grad education that attributes to my $400,000 a year in billing.
Get after it and work your tail off, you will be fine.

Way to go! This kid has enough guts to stand up to the system. The new NBA rule that you have to have a year of college is dumb. You can’t impose a rule on players that isn’t universally the same. This guy has got hunger, work ethic, and has shown outstanding desire and sacrifice for the sport. He’s standing up against the norm and nobody’s going to force him to do what he doesn’t think is right. Whatever the future holds, work your options Brandon and take care of your family. Much Respect.

Just do you homie and goodluck wherever u end up see u in the NBA in 2009….
Comment by deniz — July 9, 2008 @ 10:06 pm
Although I am disappointed in your decision, BJ. I do wish you luck wherever you go. Nobody should hate on you for making a decision about your own future and NOBODY should wish failure or injury to an 18 year old kid. I only hope that one day you realize that money isn’t everything and the love of basketball should be what drives your decision making. The college experience (even for 1 year) would have helped your transition into the real world. Now you are jumping in head first and it won’t be easy. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you back in the states next year.
Comment by Carne Cat — July 9, 2008 @ 10:38 pm
Its typical for some “sports fan idiot” to hate on a guy like Jennings, who is making a brave decision. Never mind that the current 19-yr old rule is unconstitutional, or that the SAT is culturally biased for anyone not from Upstate New York, let alone a kid from Compton but you people have the audacity to call him stupid. This man has the right to get paid doing what he is great at. Seeing as you have no talents I am sure that is hard for you to swallow. But its true. If you can do it, and it pays, you are aloud to earn a living; even a really great one. And for someone with so much to lose to stand up to Commissioner Stern and a rule like that is courageous and necessary. It would have been easier to go to Arizona ( which is an easy school academically and to gain acceptance into without basketball talent.) So to say he is doing this for anything other than the right reasons is at the very least speaking without knowing what the facts are!!!
10 Bucks says he raises his stock playing against better fundamental competition and maturing for the big leagues in Spain or Italy. It will work so greta that more kids do it forcing the NBA to lift their BAD rule. If Congress doesn’t do it for them!!!
So STOP Hatin’!! And root for the LA Kid to make it. GO B.J.

Respect Brandon!!! Mad respect!
If u read this webpage I will say just this: Come to Ljubljana, Slovenia! It´s a beautiful small country [Even George Bush jr. said it is a piece of heaven about amonth ago:))] and we have a team that is playing in Euroleague and a coach that was an assistant coach in Minnesota Timberwolves a couple of years ago and he is very good with teaching young players and players from the USA to develop their game[in proof: we had three american players from the start of the year and they have doubled their point average since he has arrived in the middle of the season.]
And here you would not have to worry about mad fans like in some other countries like Greece or Spain where there is a real danger if you srew something big time…
Just take my advise into consideration and make some of your people contact our team here in Ljubjana Slovenia [team name is: Union Olimpija]. Oh, and in some additional maybe to convince you even more to take our city in consideration: Our team produced 5 players that made it into the NBA.
And in the other news:))) : FUCK the NCAA and theirs making money of off people.

Good decision, i hope you come to Itay to see you play, here in Europe you will find competitive leagues (Greece, Italy and Spain overall), especially if you play in an Eurolegue team, you will play hard for 40-50 games a year (not 10 like in the NCAA) and you will be paid well which is important if your job is basketball player. I think you will go to the NBA stronger , and more ready to play professional basketball.

All of the idiots who are calling this kid stupid are prejudice. I’m so proud of Brandon Jennings for being the first of many black athletes to stop being pimped by the NCAA. That’s right… pimped! The NCAA, in collaboration with the NBA makes these rules that affect mostly black athletes, prohibiting them from securing their families and futures economically by playing pro ball after high school. My question is why? Why is it a necessity to go to college for one year in hopes of attaining an NBA career? Nobody asks you what was your SAT score when you step on an NBA court. You prejudice white guys should realize these guys are simply entertainers. That’s it buddy. Entertainers! And who said he’s not intelligent? You guys should research Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences. There’s an intelligence called Bodily-Kinesthetic intelligence (“body smart”). So all of you guys downing Jennings, do you think you could dunk a basketball at 10″? Guess not. So I guess we can conclude that you’re kinesthetically illiterate. Besides, he’ll have a great career and make lots of money. Jeez how bad some of you guys wish you were young black athletes!!!

Comment by Dan — July 10, 2008 @ 2:12 pm
As a U of A fan and graduate, I think it’s a shame he backed out on his commitment, but if he can’t get the minimum SAT score to qualify then he shouldn’t pretend to be a college student. People on this thread are bitter he won’t play college ball but they also need to see this is the best thing for him. In addition to the basketball experience, coaching, and money he’ll pick up in Europe he may actually learn more in a year there than in a sham year of school. In my time abroad I sure learned more than in any of my semesters in school in the states.
Calm down people and look at it rationally – the NCAA is a cartel, the NBA is just trying to protect itself from risk, and he’s doing the same thing they are: looking out for number one. Now it’s up to him to seize this opportunity.

NOT THE SMARTEST CHOICE IN MY OPINION BUT UNDERSTANDABLE NONE THE LESS. AS A BIG U OF A FAN, IM UPSET HE’S NOT COMING FOR THE “WHAT IF” FACTOR… BJ, NIC WISE, CHASE BUDINGER, JORDAN HILL, HORNE, WHITEY…ETC.. WOULD HAVE BEEN A CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER… BUT THATS ALL SPECULATION. HOWEVER THE MORE I READ AND HEAR ABOUT JENNINGS, THIS MAY BE A BLESSING. SEEMS LIKE HE MAY BE MORE OF A HEADACHE THAN ITS WORTH. REGARDLESS OF MY OPINIONS… THIS IS A SHORT TERM FIX FOR HIM OF THE WORST KIND. OK, HE’S GOING TO MAKE A FEW HUNDRED THOUSAND NEXT YEAR, BUT HIS DRAFT STOCK WILL CERTAINLY DROP…. AND IT WILL DROP CONSIDERABLY.
IF HE KEPT HIS COMMITMENT TO ARIZONA THEN HE GOES TO POINT GUARD U… GETS COACHED BY ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER IN LUTE OLSON… HAS GREAT PLAYERS AROUND HIM TO SHOWCASE HIS TALENT… AND HE’S A TOP 5 PICK NEXT YEAR… MILLIONS IN THE BANK…. INSTEAD HE IS OFF TO EUROPE CUZ OF A FORMER SHOE COMPANY OWNER BUZZ’S AROUND IN HIS EAR AND CERTAINLY FALLS OUT OF THE LOTTERY… WHO KNOWS HOW FAR DOWN HE WILL BE DRAFTED. SAY HE DOES WELL AFTER HE GETS DRAFTED. ULTIMATELY HE IS STILL COSTING HIMSELF MILLIONS WITH HIS FIRST CONTRACT.
JUST MAKES NO SENSE TO ME? I WISH BJ LUCK… BUT I ALSO DONT KNOW IF ANYONE WILL BE HEARING ABOUT HIM IN A FEW MONTHS OR YEARS….

WELL GET THIS, ALL THESE OTHER TOP PLAYERS IN THE COUNTRY PLAYING AT DUKE, UCLA, UNC AND WHEREVER ELSE WILL BE A MILLION DOLLARS POORER THAN JENNINGS AFTER THIS YEAR, WHILE DOING THE SAME THING FOR A YEAR: PLAYING BASKETBALL. DO YOU NOT REALIZE THAT EVEN IF HE GOT THE SAT SCORE, IT WOULD BE MORE BENEFICIAL TO GO TO EUROPE AND GET PAID? PAID????? WHILE HE GETS MONEY AND FOCUSES SOLELY ON BASKETBALL FOR A YEAR AGAINST TOP COMPETITION, THE OTHER FRESHMEN “STARS” WILL BE BROKE, GETTING PLAYED BY THE NCAA WHILE GETTING USED TO SELL OUT THE SEATS. THEY WILL BE GOING TO BULLSHIT CLASSES, BECAUSE REALLY, WE ALL KNOW YOU DONT DO SHIT YOUR FRESHMAN YEAR BUT SIT THROUGH BULLSHIT 101 CLASSES NOT LEARNING A DAMN THING. AND IN THE END, THATS ALL THE EDUCATION THESE STARS WOULD GET, CAUSE IF THEYRE REALLY GOOD, WE KNOW THEYLL BE A ONE AND DONE JUST LIKE THE 10+ FRESHMAN PLAYERS TAKEN IN THIS YEARS DRAFTS FIRST ROUND. SO BJ WILL SEE ALL OF THESE KIDS AGAIN ON DRAFT DAY, MAYBE EVEN AS THE #1 PICK IF NOT A GUARUNTEED LOTTERY PICK, WITH OVER A MILLION DOLLARS MORE IN HIS BANKROLL. WELL SHIT….. USCpac1OCHAMPS09 and YoungMoney4life- Now that was some of the most uneducated drivel I’ve read in sometime. I forgot my ebonics translator today, so hopefully I’ll make due with the bold faced words in both of your neanderthal’s posts. Let’s get a few things straight. Don’t ever make disparaging (that means negative or bad you mongaloids) remarks aboout Lute Olson. That being said, your BOY, Brandon Jennings or BJ (Blow Job) as you like to call him, was not smart enough to pass a test that 9 year old blind, deaf, and limbless children have passed. That would rank your pal, Blow Job, just as smart as a one-eyed Havelina (similar to a wild pig/boar or of course your mother and most of your ancestors). In essence, he is as stupid as mud. This will not bode well for him, as he will need his wits about him when the Turkish bandits come to dismember his body. I hope for one that you two mongrels are with him so you can too meet your demise at the blood thirsty hands of Turish mercanaries. Guess what that means? That’s right you two midguided muppets, Blow Job will never make it to the NBA as parts of his body will never leave the unholy confines of his eventual Turkish prison cell. Kudos fellahs, have fun on your trip!

WOOOOOOOOW, Thank GOD… Brandon, you won’t be going to AZ. These people are really showing their true colors. Serious haters, very ugly people in AZ. Maybe they should stay in college 10+ years and maybe they can understand what your doing. At 18 years of age, you can join the Army, Air Force ect.. and die, but not go into the NBA. WHAT KIND OF SHIT IS THAT. Brandon, you will learn far more from going overseas in one year, than beening in a narrow-minded college like UA. Most of these haters, won’t ever travel too. You will find that your better received and respect in many countries in Europe than the USA. Just continue to be positive and respectful, even in light of all these FOOLS. They know that AU won’t be seeing any championship soon.
Comment by Butterfly — July 11, 2008 @ 12:18 pm
Butterfly- Simple points of contention. It’s “you’re” not “your”. Its UofA, not AU. All of your spelling mishaps tell me that you may have been Blow Job’s study partner for the SAT’s. So tell me smart guy, why should anyone respect a kid for taking the easy route? Blow Job has undeniable and incredible skills on the basketball court, but what about his integrity? He made a committment that he had no intentions on fulfilling, why not question his character? It’s easy to take the logical step that Blow Job cheated on the SAT’s, if he didn’t, why didn’t he defend his name and challenge the NCAA? The kid got caught cheating, and he is now bolting to Europe rather than face his challenges here in the US. Most people would call Blow Job a coward, and they are likely correct. He isn’t a trail blazer in route to Europe; simply an uneducated kid with a ton of basketball talent running away from his problems and escaping for the short term. Guys like that never succeed, just look at Latrell Spreewell.

Dave “Meathead Bigot” Armistead — I’m guessing you’re the typical over-educated, under-employed U of eh graduate that banters all day on websites puffing your chest.
Loot Olson is a joke and has lost a few marbles — even the national media has picked up on it. I would love to take off a year from running my business but demand a decent $750,000 from my clients for “personal reasons”, but I would be out of business for piss poor business practice. You might be better off taking your energy elsewhere, such as, writing a letter to Mr. Livengood (current AD at U of eh) of your dissatisfaction of your school’s lack of athletic performance.
Jennings is making the most out of what he has left of his “options”. Be supportive of the 18-19 year old who has more scores of talent in his off-hand pinky than you have in the trunk of your ’98 Pontiac Firebird.
Tell Budinger to show up more than once every 4 games and you may have a shot at finishing above Oregon State in the PAC-10.
For a tool bag that toots his horn of literary supremacy you misspelled Turkish in your first post (“….at the blood thirsty hands of TURISH mercenaries). Quit being a bigot and get over your over-hyped education and suburban self-inflated ego.
And yes I am white-anglo business owner with a undergraduate degree, happyily married with a child, with staunch conservative republican ideals.
People like you make me sick and ashamed to be associated with you for your blind whitedness.
Grow up and quit spreading the hate. Wise ass.

Quick consensus on the whole issue:
People defending Jennings are living under a completely false interpretation that he did something incredibly honorable or smart. Neither of which are true.
Brandon Jennings pulled a completely backstabbing bitch move. If he truly didn’t pass his SAT and knew so, he should have CITED THIS as the reason, and not because he “found something better” than the Wildcats. Had this been the case I don’t think many of us would be this angry.
He bailed on a commitment to go play infront of crowds 1/10 of McKale center where no scouts will see him compete against anybody they know. He’s an exceptional athlete, but Marcus Williams was too. They shared something else: this attitude. Where is Marcus Williams making it rain nowadays?
May I add that a lot of the people defending his actions seem to have trouble with simple sentence formation?
Thats what I think about that part.
Arizona State DEVIL – Dude you are incredibly conceeded and clearly think a little too highly of yourself. If you run an incredible business making 400k a year, then that’s impressive. I’m serious, good job, I hope to do that well one day.
However don’t come out here trying to somehow project your knowledge of the real estate market in a state that has seen housing prices rise like barely any other in the last decade onto college hoops. You can have your opinion, for example I’m a web developer… knowing PHP and JavaScript makes me no more literate about college hoops than you, or anyone else.
ASU is by no means a better school than “U of eh”… its actually lower in pretty much all ratings. We aren’t an amazing school, certain colleges are, but not our whole university is a just above par school, and I am not afraid to acknowledge that, but ASU is par at best, so don’t go calling us “over-educated, under-employed U of eh graduates”.
That is all.
Peace.

This is for the USC degenerate- Your BOY Blow Job couldn’t even muster a passing score on the SAT’s, and now he frolicks off (yes, Blow Job is a frolicker as if you knew him, you would know that he really is a fancy pants pillow biter) to Europe where he will not only be exposed as a phony wanna be basketball star, but he will also be disposed of in terms of future NBA dreams. In his own mind, the kid may have AI skills, but since his IQ can be measured on one hand, he will fail. Just like you USC. I’m guessing though, that you have never attended the University of Spoiled Children unless you are one of those braniacs who played with that criminal Mayo last year. My guess is that you will meet the same fatefull demise of Ricky in Boyz; so much wasted talent, too bad.
BTW…I played 4 years in college and played overseas, and yes, Brandon “Blow Job” Jennings will fail over there if he is lucky enough to survive. And lastly, you will see why the moniker really is for “Blow Job” as that is the key lesson he learned on the mean streets of California. No one likes a dick sucker, that’s why no one is really upset that he is leaving. Good riddance Blow Job boy.

He will be scouted like all euro players. He has a family to take care of and if he couldn’t pass the SAT then he made the right decision. Maybe he should have told U of A his situation but it is what it is and he has to do what is best for him and not U of A. I play in Europe and he will play in front of about 10k fans and prepare better against sound euro players. You guys are awful on this message board. Let him do him and you look for another player. Calm down it will be ok.

People want to talk about commitments,
Lute Olsen bailed on the team last year where is the outrage in that?
Brandon Jennings was only going to play 1 season their anyway, and we don’t know even if he would of qualified
Comment by Bruins>>>>>Wildcats — July 16, 2008 @ 8:03 am
Brandon is 18 or 19 years old, if NBA gm’s hold him to the same standards that they hold Europeans his age its unlikely his stock will drop significantly, plus NBA GM’s know he’s playing against older & better competition
the Charlotte Bobcats drafted a big man in the first round who only averaged 5 & 5 in Europe
Comment by Bruins>>>>>Wildcats — July 16, 2008 @ 8:07 am
Everything this Meatball douche says makes me sick. First of all, it is UA not AU, and Sprewell has only one E, so if you’re gonna try to act smart, make sure you know what you’re talking about, moron.
Second of all, based on what you’ve written, it doesn’t seem you know much about this kid at all. He’s had a rough life and wants to help his family, so how can you fault him for that? Half these “one-and-done” kids wouldn’t even be going to college if it weren’t for the rule. You might say that makes him dumb, but the fact is that some people just aren’t meant for college. And if he’s ready to be a professional right out of high school, why shouldn’t he be able to go make money and help support himself and his family? Someone above said it perfectly. As a professional, basketball will be his job 24/7, unlike in college where kids have classes and homework and plenty of temptations to distract them from basketball. I don’t see you calling LeBron or any of the other guys who skipped college to go to the pros stupid for not getting an education, and he wasn’t gonna get much of an education anyway because he was only gonna be there for a year because he had to be. That would be Jennings if it weren’t for this rule, and none of this “controversy” would have ever happened. I’m not comparing him to LeBron, but Telfair did the same thing and he’s a millionaire. You could say he’s stupid if you want, but he’s got way more money than you’ll ever see so his decision can’t be too stupid.
Finally, I think all the gay talk to keep throwing out there is just a way to hide that you’re a “fancy pants pillow biter.” And you played overseas? What does that mean? You played pickup in Europe once. You’re just a jealous bitch that never made it. Get over it.
Comment by Meatball is Gay — July 16, 2008 @ 10:25 am
Typical that an uneduated ASU dolt would come to the USC degenerates defense. Anyways, you wasted a bunch of space in post #83 as you are worthless and your life can be summed up in the following statement. You are a waste of skin, and your parents never loved you. Kudos to that little fellah.
Comment by Dave " The Meatball" Armistead — July 16, 2008 @ 2:59 pm
Wow most of you people are mad messed up. So what if he did bad on the SAT? The world isn’t over for him. He still has plenty of opportunities to be successful in life. Playing overseas is a good idea. He’ll actually get to play with professional athletes. He can be be great and that could increase his stock in the 2009 Draft. I hope he does well in Europe. Hopefully the Knicks are able to get him next year

I grew up with him, attend U of A and I know for a FACT that he is no “retard”. Basketball is his life, his love and his passion, the only thing I can think about that he loves more is his family. Why not make a move that combines both of them!!!…You people were kissing his ass and were ready to kill you’re fucking first born child for him and now you want to kill him and wish harm upon him for not coming to this stupid school where all the kids do is get drunk, have sex, and spend daddy’s money?? Well I’ll tell you FUCK all of you guys, half of you guys will never accomplish your dreams like he is doing, and you think he should’ve wasted his time at U of A taking one class and getting blowed by some stupid blond bitch??..NO he’s working hard overseas and perfecting his craft while you ignorant asses sit up and make stupid comments, half of you people won’t accomplish what Brandon does in a day in your whole lives!!!!

Haters are always going to hate and doubt you. That’s how it is. Well fuck them! People too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage yours. The difference between the people hating and you is talent. They don’t got talent that’s why they discourage. They’re scared they won’t succeed in life and be stuck with a fast food job working from 9 to 5. But you man, you got pure talent. You got something to make your life out of. You have a chance to shine. Just play ball and do you, and put those haters in there place. This is your moment to shine…

U of A’s title hopes went to italy with brandon jennings so i guess that explains ur bitterness. get over it. the kid is gonna make money to support his family and you guys are hoping that he loses his ability to do that. if any of u were as half as talented as him you wouldnt turn down a multi million dollar deal. its not like he was gonna stay in arizona for four years he was gonna leave after his 1st year anyway. bayless did the same shit ,jennings will just be making millions while U of A is looking for some body to save them.
