According to Brandon Jenning’s head coach, Steve Smith, at Oak Hill Academy, Arizona and Connecticut are Jenning’s top two picks but the Kansas Jayhawks and Kentucky Wildcats are also in the running. Jennings, who is from Southen California, is considered by most to be the number 1 point guard in the class of 2008. He had previously given a verbal commitment to USC. No word if he will be visiting Kansas or Kentucky but trips to Arizona and Connecticut are scheduled sometime this summer.

KU loves Brandon. Our top two point guards are going to be gone after next season (Robinson graduating/possible NBA and Collins NBA) We want 2008 to be the Brandon Jennings show in Rock Chalk Jayhawk Land!

The Kentucky Wildcats need Brandon Jennings. He will be a nice fit with the program. Billy Gilispie is a nice fit of a coach at kentucky and is way better than Tubby Smith was. Brandon has the all around game that kentucky needs on the roster and he will lead them back to the promise land.

Brandon - I think you could be the best PG Kansas has ever seen. I would love to see you playing in Lawrence in ‘08-’09…
