Oak Hill Academy defeats Prep Charter and American ChristianFebruary 11th, 2007 · No CommentsPlaying in the Prime Time Shootout’s first-night finale at Villanova, the Prep Charter Huskies were pounded, 99-66, by Oak Hill Academy, a perennial national power from Mouth of Wilson, Va. Oak Hill, which entered the week as the No. 2 team in the nation in USA Today’s Super 25 poll, was led by junior guard Brandon Jennings, who scored 29 points. Oak Hill (Va.) Academy also took on American Christian (Pa.) in a tightly contested battle. With the score tied at 72, Oak Hill’s Brandon Jennings drove the lane and drew a foul. Jennings hit the second of the two free throws to give Oak Hill the win., 73-72. Oak Hill (Mouth of Wilson, VA) defeated Orange (CA) Luteran, 92-62, at the Nike Extravaganza in Santa Ana, CA.
